Offer your yoga practice and raise funds to run health, education and training programs in Tansa Valley, India.
From Wednesday July 31 to Tuesday August 6, 2014, Yoga Moon is raising funds for Not-for-profit Organisation, Prasad Australia. All funds go to run health, education and training programs in Tansa Valley, India. To take part all you have to do is to create an intention and offer your practice for the next six days. Each day you practice you can also offer a financial contribution to help improve the lives of families in India. Your friends and yoga studio can also contribute any amount, say $5 a practice or more, and all funds raised will go to help this wonderful cause. The first 40 yoga practitioners to join will receive a yoga kit from sponsor Stretch Now or a gift pack from Natio. Donations over $2 are tax deductible. Yoga schools can take part during the event by donating a class or group practice to the project. This could be a one off class, or as part of a daily practice challenge.
